Hei igjen :)
Thomas is helping a guy we met in Flores,Indonesia with his visa for Australia!
So I am just surfing the net in the meanwhile!
(I am sorry if there is many typingmisstakes...Thomas is not here to correct me:)
I forgot to say that we dont have a phone anymore:(
It got stolen some weeks ago!
But we will let you know if er get a new one...it very strang...its almost the same price for a phone back home!!
So we will probably not buy one!
(we will try to answer as many mail as posible)
Its strange...when we have been traveling here in malaysia and indoensia there has been a lot af muslims and mosques...
and now I am here in the internetthop and there is christian music playing in the background!
(Hillsongs for them hwo has heard of them!)
Today Thomas and I are millioneres :)
1 000 000 = 700 kr
I also forgot to say what we have been doing for the two couple of weeks...
We went from from Bali to Gilli Air, Lombok a 5 hour ferryride from Bali.
Stay tere for a week just doing nothing, he he!
We had one dive, that was amazing,we saw turtles for the fist time...very big, mabye approx 80 cm long just from 1 meter disstance!!!
Some days earlier we went with some lokalpeople on a fishingtrip...but we didnt get any fish!!!
We met a nice couple from England and Holland
Toby and Isabel...they were in the end of the travel after 1 year and 3 months!
And Christian and Illy from Germany, they were just starting the journey...1 month and 11 left...lucky "bastards"
he he
It was Illys 40 years birthday so we had a big party with all the people liing in Gita Gilli,
they decorated the hut with bananaleafs and a lot of flowers, candels and made a nice bananacake(I even liked it,and i dont like banana:)
Toby and Isabel had a fireshow and I made a birthdaycard!!!
Hope you had a nice day Milly,ha ha!!!
After Gilli Air did we go to Mattaram.big city and then a 13 hours busride...to Sape, Sombawa!
(were we met Oscar:)
We had to wait for two days in this very small place...because we missed the ferry by half and hour:(
Then we went to Flores...
Labonbadjo,Ruteng,Bejawa,Moni,Momere....
A lot of busrides that all I can say...
this one was with 20 seats...and there was 40 inside and 5 on the roof....
and a lot of grossaries and som animals....you can just emagien...?
and the pumpimg misic offcourse for 5-6 hours!
But in the end its worth it...you get to know a lot of nice lokal people and get to practice your bahasa-indoneesian!
Labanbajo-very nice small fishinwillage,a bit smelly but very charming:)
Ruteng-not very nice small place....so dond go there if you dondt have to!
Bejawa-also small little place...met Sarah and Emma from Englang...
Lovely girls...
In Bejawa we went on a fullday trip to visit the tradisjonal willages....
Just Beatiful...primitiv...and they lived in small houses made of bambo offcourse...
And at that place the women ruled...
the men did all the cooking and the hard work and had to be in the woods all day!!
Sound nice to me..ha ha!
Oscar met his next wife to be....and they called him the funny funny butterfly....
Moni- We went to the Kelimutu...(google it:)
Momere- Two days of relaxsation:) on Sunset Cottages...
very nice place by the beach were you could see sunrise and sundown...
From Momere to Larantuka...
Went on a ferry the day after for no use...5 hours...
We were suposed to go to Lewolebo, small island but the ferry didnt go there after all....
so we came back to the staringpont....
And then we desided to JUMP over to another ferry laying just next to the other ferry....
(we went in the backway\door)
So we had no ticket....but that nver a problem here in thees counties...
so we actually paid less then the lokal did!
The small ferry was complitly packed...
aprox 500 pax...EVERYWERE!!!On the cardeck and even under the cars....
the iles were impossible to cross....We tought this could bee very interesting!!!!
We arrived very late...so no seats...
but luckely we got two seats in the buisniss class...
And after 16 hours we got to Kupang were we are now...
And tomorrow!!!
Visarun:)
Its just a 12 hour busride!!!
Now we are going for som lunsj...
C U
Selamat pagi, god morgen, good morning, guten morgen, bon dia !!
We are very sorry for not putting something new on the page...
There hasnt been any internett for almost tree weeks now.
(And there will be pictures soon...)
Thomas bought a new camera in Singapore and there is no place to intall it!By the way..he looks like an arab(he has benn saving his beard for two monts now....)
Men den som venter paa noe bra venter ikke forgjves:)
(norwegian saying)
We are now in West timor, going for a visarun tomorrow, its just a 10 hours busride:)
And then we are going back as soon as possible to Indonesia.
Its a beatifull country,amazing people:)
There has been some change of plans, we are spending two months here instead of two weeks!
We love it:)
The last 10 days we have been travelig with a retired Belgian General at the age of 79.
He has been telling us stories every night from his turbulent and most exciting life.
His name i Oscar, very sweet man that we are going to miss a lot!!!
Yesterday we traveled from Larantuca, Flores to Kupang, just a 16 hours ferry ride packed with 500 other people and animals...(very very tiny ferry!!!!!)
But we survied!
Here in Indonesia most thing are cheep (morah)
EX:
Meal on the street: 5 kr\ 50 cents
Beer(pint): 10kr
Soda: 2-3 kr
16 hours ferryride:35 kr "buisniss"
5 hours bemo(minibus): 18kr
(price inkl. pumping hardcore bass music)
(Dette hadde vaert noe for Far og victoria, stekte nudler med saan god saus og stekt ris og egg)
All bemos(lokal transport) have a lot of stickers, posters and this massive stereo...
no matter what time of day there is always very loud music.(from 0530 until late)
And then you have the mosques....
Also from 0530...and the roosters even earlier...
So you dont really have a choise of waking up or not...
This is not a country for sleepyheads!!!!
Around 40 days now...and we are back if everything goes after plan!!He he
(Vi forventer en liten velkomstkomite)
Miss u all...love i and t

Today is the day off for many of the workers so there is party out in the sreets! After an 6 hrs busride we arrived Singapore from KL.And we got detaned on the emmigrationoffice today...there was some wrong, but they didnt tell us anything and they let us go!
Here in Singapore there is a deathpenalty for drugtrafficing! So if you are going to Singapore...dont do that!!!!
In 2 days are we heading for Bali :)
We are looking forward to go to the beach again and lay in the sun and just relaxe:)(We gotta get tanned,ha ha)
You kind of get tired of the big cities very easely!
But they seem nice here, its a more westernly city, the prices on everything else.
So er are glad er are only stayinghere 2 days...the budget its exslopding :\
C U
17 MAI,hipp hipp hurra :) (the norwegian celebration of nationhood)
We get to do the things we normally would have done of the 17 of may, but we had fun!
There was a reseption at hotel far away and the dresscode was not in our backpacks:(
(and not in our budget to buy one)but we got a invitation from the norwegian ambassador here in KL.
(with the kings "seal"IN GOLD :)
Tomorrow we are maybe going to celebrate with at the ambassadors place,
going to sing some songs, eat hot dogs(not typical norwegian food),ice-cream
and play some games.
And after that we are heading for Singapore :) The city of electronics
and SHOPPING :)
muahaha!!!!

kuala lumpur
After 14hrs trainride from Kota Baru.(Getting to like the travelsick pills more and more, they knock me out,ha ha)
Its freakin crazy once your outside, people will nearly attack you with taxi taxi taxi or sir sir please sir, buy cheap cheap t-shirts, watches, bags, dvds, and everything you can imagine for only 10 dollars...
pretty annoying, but we have decided to buy earplugs and a massive megafon to shout back at the attackers.
(but not sure it would work...)
There is so many different kind of people here:indians, malays, thai, chinese and indonesians.
Very many speak english, but its also easy to get lost in translation, but we seem to manage somehow:)
wicked...
(ref. to mark starbuckets:)
We are living in Chinatown right now at Backpackers inn,
a cool chillout place, you can eat breakfast on the roof of the building.
They also have internett, movies when you want and much more...
(and laundryservice...we like)
Tomorrow we are going to see the radiobuilding, The 4th highest in the world!
yippi!!!
See ya when we see ya...

Hallaien!(like hello)
Hello everyone:)
"everybody need some time away!"
(Peter Setera)
Yesterday we went to Penang Hill, we took a train up 600 meter above sea level,
the wiev was amazing, but a lot of tourist!
I got some hennapaint on my hand, and there are a lot of indian people here in Malaysia, some are making remarks on it since its just for a indian wedding they do the painting on the hands and legs.
They also had a Indian temple there,so nice
(pictures are coming)
After the Penang Hill we went to a buddist temple, one of the biggest we have seen.
We saw many big lizzards just next to us by the road.(aprox.1 meter long)
(pictures are coming)
Today we went to a 5 star hotel just next to where we lived,to visit our new friend Souschef Mansor Abdul.
We met him at his very small local restaurant we went to some days ago.
That was the nicest meal we have had so far.
He was to kind to us,drove us in to the town and showed us around in the city.
And today we had a tour in the (MASSIVE)kitchen at the ParkRoyal Hotel
There wasnt one thing missing, there was maybe 15 chefs, and total 65 restaurant staff
Everthing was very very organised,in other words impressively clean and tidy.
Today we are leaving this island and are going to the east coast,
to Redang/Paradise :)
(haha)
See u
